About Prostonum Drops

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is the most common problem in men after 50 years of age. BPH is estimated in 50% of men above 50 years of age & in 80% of men above 70 years of age. BPH can cause serious problems over time. Urine retention and strain on the bladder can lead to urinary tract infections, bladder or kidney damage, bladder stones, and incontinence. When BPH is diagnosed and checked in its earlier stages, there is a lower risk of developing such complications. Prostonum, a new product developed by the department of Research & Development of SBL, is a well-balanced formula of homoeopathic medicines which checks symptoms of BPH.

Indications of Prostonum

For Men above the age of 50 years.

• Urgency (leakage or dribbling)
• Difficulty in starting urination(hesitancy)
• Frequent urination
• Frequent awakening at night for urination
• Sensation as if the bladder is not fully emptied
• Burning sensation while urinating

All or any above-mentioned problems may be due to Prostate Enlargement.

The action of Composition used in Prostonum

Sabal serrulata 2x 20% v/v: Burning in the urethra while passing urine and difficulty in passing urine. Recent or chronic enlargements. The sensation of coldness from the prostate gland to the genitals.

Chimaphila umbellata 3 10%v/v: Great urge to urinate. Straining is necessary to commence urination. Urine feels hot when passed.

Clematis erecta 3 10%v/v: Urine flows by fits, starts or dribbles, strains out a few drops, and then full stream flows. Burning in the urethra during urination. The last drop causes violent burning.

Conium maculatum 3 10%v/v: Discharge of prostatic fluid on every motion with itching of prepuce and enlargement. Urine starts and stops again and again.

Pareira brava 3 10%v/v: Retention of urine due to prostate enlargement.

Pulsatilla nigricans 3 10%v/v: Burning in the orifice of the urethra during and after micturition. Involuntary micturition at night, After urinating, pain in the bladder.

Alcohol Content 60%v/v

Excipients q.s to 100 ml

How to use Prostonum

10-15 drops in 1/4 cup of water, 3-4 times daily.
